By creating an account you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use Money Date.

Money Date helps two people prepare, discuss and record shared money decisions. It is not a bank, a budgeting or accounting service, or a financial, tax, legal or relationship advisor. It does not connect to your bank and does not move money.

You must be at least 18 years old to use Money Date.

Keep your sign-in details safe; you are responsible for activity on your account. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has accessed it.

Drafts and private notes are visible only to you. A decision becomes visible to your partner only when you choose to share it. Your private notes are never shown to your partner.

Each partner is responsible for what they choose to share and for the decisions they make together. We do not verify, judge or enforce agreements between partners, and we are not a party to them.

Either partner may leave a Couple Space. Shared decisions already recorded remain part of the shared history for the remaining partner, as described in the Privacy Policy.

Money Date offers a Free plan and a paid plan, Money Date Plus, billed monthly or yearly at the prices shown at checkout. One Plus subscription covers both partners in the same Couple Space.

Plus renews automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled. Payments are processed by Stripe; we do not store card details. Prices may change with advance notice; a change applies from your next renewal.

Switching between monthly and yearly takes effect at your next renewal date.

You can cancel at any time from the Plan page. Plus stays active for both partners until the end of the period already paid, then the Couple Space returns to Free. Losing Plus never deletes or hides your decisions.

How we handle personal information is described in our Privacy Policy, which is part of these terms.

Where Money Date uses AI, it only helps prepare questions and lay out trade-offs. It never makes decisions for you, judges what is fair, takes a side, or gives financial advice. AI output can be incomplete or wrong; you and your partner remain responsible for your decisions.

You keep ownership of what you write in Money Date. You give us a limited licence to store and display it only to provide the service to you and, where you shared it, to your partner.

Do not use Money Date to store unlawful content, to harass anyone, or to record another person's information without a lawful reason.

Do not attempt to access other people's accounts or data, interfere with the service, reverse engineer it beyond what the law allows, or use it to send spam.

We work to keep Money Date available but cannot promise uninterrupted service. We may improve, change or retire features. If we make material changes to these terms, we will tell you in advance.

The Money Date name, design and software belong to us. These terms do not grant you any rights to them beyond using the service.

You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms, with notice where reasonably possible.

To the extent permitted by law, Money Date is provided "as is" and we are not liable for decisions you make using it or for indirect losses. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law that cannot be waived.
